Good times at Disneyland

Well I finally have a little time to blog, not much since it's so late and I'm wasted tired, but I'll do what I can!

Our family was lucky enough to make a random trip to Disneyland recently and it was so fun! It was Kylie first time there and she actually did really well! We also got to meet up with my fabulous friends Ray and Chilly... LOVE YOU GUYS! They were even gracious enough to watch my children now and again while me and hubby got to go on a few rides! Kaitlyn was so fun cause she is really into the princesses now and loved the "Fantasy Fair". Then loving hubby took the little ones back to the hotel for a few hours both nights so I could stay and go on some big rides with my friends! SO sweet of him, and I had a great time.

The joys of all the things I do.

So I haven't actually posted anything lately.. so here's some of what's been going on.

Little little one is doing well and growing like a weed. We had some fussiness issues due to formula and acid reflux, but a soy formula has solved this. now look how happy she is! :)


So we took a day trip to Vegas a few weeks back and got to see some big lions, jaguars, a white tiger and tiger cubs, and a bunch of dolphins. It was quite fun.

Kaitlyn is such a good big sister! Seriously she is always giving kisses and wants to help hold and feed the baby. She gets very concerned if Kylie is crying.


Kaitlyn is taking the leap to follow in her mothers footsteps and be a drummer as I was. She loves Rock Band... as do I.

11. Your fear? Anything creepy crawly, being alone, and losing one my kids somewhere.

13. Where were you last night? My mother-in-laws for a family birthday party. Wee hoo!

15. One of your wish-list items? Shout out to katria with the macro lens also, an annual pass to disneyland.... and can I wish for more free time?

17. The last thing you did? Changed a daiper and fed a baby
18. What are you wearing? Brown pants that don't fit too well, a blue sweater shirt, a cream little sweater jacket... no shoes or socks... throw in a bra and some undies and that's my outfit.
19. Your TV? Which one? Bedroom one, on showing "What Not to Wear", daughters TV, on showing "My Friends Tigger and Pooh", living room TV... off.... Car TV... off.
20. Your pet? Daisey Duke the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is in the process of being moved temporarily while our gates are installed, then she will have free roam of the back yard! YAY FOR GATES! and Squeeky the peach faced Cockateil is chillin in her cage downstairs munchin on some bird seed.
21. Your computer? on my lap... good ol
22. Your mood? A little "eh" right now... waiting for my new presciption happy pills to kick in
23. Missing someone? my friends...
24. Your car? Buick Enclave.. love it... it's chillin in the garage. soon to be taken out about town so i can get me some lunch!

27. Your summer? Pregnant... birth giving... house remodeling and yard finishing... overall a reasonable summer.

Brief Update.. too sore to say more.

Okay, So I'm SO bad at blogging it's not even funny, but I'm still trying to get into a routine with the new little one. SO this is a quick note to inform my small following that I am not dead. Kaitlyn is becoming more and more grown up everyday, it's mind boggling! She has learned how to count to ten, is working on the potty training thing, and loves to help me with the baby whenever I give her the chance. The downside of her growing up is she has become fairly manipulative and has mastered the art of temper-tantrums.... oh the joy.

Kylie is just so much fun! This last week she started smiling like real smiles and cooing when you talk to her. It's adorable. She's so exhausting to take care of though because she is a VERY light sleeper like me and much unlike her sister who can sleep through anything. I do love how much more cuddly she is than Kaitlyn ever was. She loves to be held all the time, which is a good thing sometimes and a bad thing other times. But all in all, she is a beautiful little bundle of joy that I'm so excited to be able to have.

So I have many, MANY more things I want to talk about and post, but I just plain don't feel up to it today. I had an awful root canal this morning which required me to see a specialist for and I have to go finish the other half of the root canal in 3 weeks due to severe deep infection which must be resolved first. Yeah... just not fun. SO... hopefully I will get a chance this weekend to post some cute pictures and tell a few more stories of what's been going on with me lately! Thanks for checkin in!

Kylie Grace

She's here! Kylie Grace was born Tuesday August 26th, 2008 at 11:01 PM. She weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 20 inches long. It's oodles of fun having her around, besides the sleep deprivation. Kaitlyn is slowly adjusting to having her around. She loves to play with her and give her lots of kisses, but she's not so keen on the shift of attention that's been goin on. anywho, I haven't had much free time for pictures of her yet, but I took these ones in the hospital. As soon as I have some time to sit down and actually take some good pictures (which I'm hoping will be this weekend), I'll post em right up! :)

Fun with Jewelery and Stickers

So, this is gonna be a pretty lazy post. I went to my doctor today and I'm dilated to a 3 and should be having my baby any day now, which will be much relief for my discomfort and an exciting new responsibility to add to my life. SO! With that in mind, I'm not feeling super high energy, but I really wanted to get these pictures of Kaitlyn up before I forget, even though I didn't really get a chance to edit them just yet! First ones, we played dress up with my jewelery... it was fun. Second group... she got into our left over yard sale stickers and kept running back and forth between me and daddy to get more stickers put on. It was lots of fun and she thought it was hilarious. So that's about all I can manage to get on for right now, but enjoy!

My weekend with Katria

So! It's taken me a few days to post, but hey, I'm here! So this last weekend, Ray came down to visit me and we totally got pedicures! K, given mine was VERY disappointing as far as professional pedicures go, I still had fun just doing something "girly". So after a wonderful day of shopping for MORE craft supplies, as if I seriously need anything else to fill up my craft room, we got some dinner and headed back to begin our big project of the evening. I made a Giselle hair clippie to go with the bow board I made for Chilly. It was rockin... i just have to say. And as I worked on that, Katria made an awesome flower arrangement for me, since she's just so super talented like that!

But I must make a note, I made a few minor adjustments to the final product which is what i took pictures of, and apparently I broke it! Meaning, Ray said I unbalanced it and she's gonna smite me and correct my damage when she comes back down in a few weeks!
